This is my friend Chelsi. She’s one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet, and she’s got family, loads of friends, and a boyfriend who are all worried for her. She went missing yesterday, and she’s now classified as a runaway.. Which is insane because she’s definitely not that type of person..I’m not going to guilt you into reblogging this. I’m going to ask. If you could take 4 seconds and hit reblog, it could cause the right person to see this and bring her home. You’d want this to spread too, if this was your friend, or your sister, or your daughter. Please just reblog this. I promise it won’t hurt your blog’s reputation. We just want her home. Thank you.

The next time you have green onions, don’t throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely. We just use kitchen scissors to cut what we need for meals. I periodically empty out the water, rinse the roots off and give them fresh water.

Just re-blogging so I can remember to do this.

I had no idea you could do this!

pretty cool

i love this SO much.

This is my baby cousin Zack, he’s only five months old, he’s in a coma & not waking up, and is going through too much. He’s way to young to go through this. He had two heart attacks in one day, he only has one lung, and died, and got brought back to life. That means he has a second chance at life, he’s the cutest baby in the world. Zack, you pulled through so much, keep fighting we all want you safe and sound at home, we’re all praying for YOU. We love you, Sammy keeps saying your name, he’s too young to understand what’s happening, What is he gets a couple years older and asks for you? You’re his little brother, and we know you want to fight, and you better, for him, for us, for me<3.
Reblog this, it won’t ruin your blog full of hipster| indie| etc.. it will make your blog even more beautiful. I want to screenshot how many notes this has and I want to know how my followers truly care about him.
Keep him in your prayers please!
Zack, I love you and please be home for Christmas<3.

Marilyn was a big supporter of the Civil Rights Movement. Ella Fitzgerald was one of Marilyn’s idols and a major inspiration. However, the Mocambo nightclub in West Hollywood, the most popular dance spot at the time, refused to let Ella perform there because she was black. Outraged, Marilyn told the owners that if they would let Ella perform, she would be there in the front row every time Ella was onstage. She did, and the two became friends.
According to the great Ella Fitzgerald: “I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt…it was because of her that I played the Mocambo, a very popular nightclub in the ’50s. She personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front table every night. She told him - and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status - that the press would go wild. The owner said yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard. After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman - a little ahead of her times. And she didn’t know it.”

had to reblog cuz this is soooo false lol. she’s the 2nd woman. but congrats nonetheless :)

No, she is the FIRST. If you mean Britney, Blackout debuted at #2 last decade decade, so that broke her record. And if you mean Alicia, Elements of Freedom debuted at #2 also, breaking her record. No one else has done it in two different decades will ONLY #1 ALBUMS but Beyonce. But thank you for trying!
